A durable and effortless interactive toy, the Talk of the Farm includes a large 27.5- by 36-inch plastic mat featuring an eye-catching top-down view of Buttercup Farm. The mat has non-slip lining on the back, so it'll stay put as your child plays on it. Visit seven interactive points of interest: Farmer Rick's home, the sheep meadow, vegetable garden, hen house, buttercup barn, cow pasture, and pig pen.

Each interactive point is marked by a musical note. When kids drive the sturdy toy truck over a note, they'll hear sound effects and speech that entertains and informs about life in the area. The mat's illustrations are bright, sunny, and full of life--from flowers, butterflies, and bales of hay, to Farmer Rick driving his tractor in the corn fields.

Buttercup Farm is full of sights and sounds that engage curious young minds. In the vegetable garden, kids will hear about Farmer Rick's delicious watermelons. At the hen house, they'll spy the orange cat napping in the roost. At the homestead, Mrs. Farmer Rick is baking fresh pies from the orchard's apples.

Through sounds that encourage interaction, the Talk of the Farm mat teaches kids skills that range from counting woolly sheep to recognizing animals, fruits, and veggies. This toy also encourages listening direction-following skills. Each audio interaction ends with a prompt to find another location on the farm.
